2020 Business Excellence Awards – Call for Nominations

Nominations are now open for the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Business Excellence Awards.
Each year the Business Excellence Awards (BEA’s) recognize and celebrate local individuals, businesses and organizations for outstanding achievement. The evening’s program holds an unprecedented reputation and explodes with excitement from approximately 1,000 guests as they gather to pay tribute to the award recipients, as judged by their peers in the business community.
Business Excellence Awards categories include The ATHENA Leadership Award, Believe Windsor Essex, Entrepreneur of the Year, Large Company of the Year, Mid-Size Company of the Year, New Business of the Year, Pillars of Our Community, Professional of the Year, Small Company of the Year, Tourism & Hospitality and Young Professional of the Year. New for 2020 is the Green Innovation Award, created in partnership with the Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA).
Three semi-finalists in each category will be revealed at a news conference on January 15, 2020. The winner of the 2020 ATHENA Leadership Award and the Believe Windsor Essex Award will also be announced at that time.
Award winners will be announced Thursday May 21, 2020 at the Chrysler Theatre and St. Clair Centre for the Arts .
“Take a few moments to nominate an individual or businesses in the community or self-nominate your own company. Entering our 30th year, we are anticipating our biggest Awards show yet. We’re thrilled to continue to present these Awards to our local companies and individuals acknowledging their achievements and contributions to the community,” states Rakesh Naidu, President and CEO, Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Nominations for the BEA awards are open online only until Friday, October 11, 2019.
