Windsor Star publishes six days a week, Monday through Saturday. On the November 25, 1996, Windsor Star began publishing from its Star Way printing facility, using Canada’s first Keyless Analox Offset press.The move ends 78 years of printing from Windsor Star’s downtown location at Ferry and Pitt streets. Editorial, Reader Sales, Advertising and Business offices remain downtown. The press at the new printing facility was built by Koenig and Bauer-Albert, of Germany. It is capable of printing 70,000 pph (straight run) and 35,000 pph (collect run). It can print up to 112 pages, with 32 pages of process colour. Windsor Star employs a total of 13 full-time press operators.
Windsor Star’s newsprint is 25-30 per cent recycled content. The plant is one of the “greenest” in Canada.
Created in 2012, Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) is a not-for-profit Crown corporation which reports to Parliament through the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities.
WDBA is responsible for the delivery of the Gordie Howe International Bridge between Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan, through a public-private partnership (P3). It is also responsible for project oversight of the construction and the operation of the new crossing. As the operator of the new bridge, WDBA will set and collect all tolls.
Our job is to help travelers cross the Detroit Windsor border as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Their site provides up-to-the-minute information on tunnel crossings between the Detroit and Windsor border.

The online portal includes a 6-step hiring road map that acts as a great resource for employers, and provides answers to many questions employers may have when hiring and retaining employees with disabilities. The platform is completely free for both job seekers and employers.
