Windsor, December 11, 2024 — The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 148th Annual General Meeting with the unveiling of a new logo and website. This was in addition to its keynote speaker Jeff Hines, President of Stellantis Canada.

“As the Chamber approaches its 150th Anniversary, the Board of Directors and Staff felt it was an opportune time to refresh the Chamber’s brand” said Tony Haddad Interim Chamber CEO. “The Chamber wanted a new logo that is reflective of the region and a little more exciting than its traditional font-based design.”

The new logo continues to incorporate the blue and green colour scheme of the Chamber’s previous branding to reflect the water and fertile soil of Windsor-Essex. It also includes a stylistic homage to the new Gordie Howe International Bridge to reflect the industrial and trading nature of our region. The logo and website redesign both went through extensive request for proposals processes earlier this year with Generator Design selected to do the logo work and Elev8 Web Studio selected to conduct the website refresh.

“I know that these have been long-term discussions among the Board and the Staff for the past several years” iterated Board Chair Tal Czudner. “The new logo and website designs demonstrate a refreshing new image for the Chamber amid the changes that are happening across our region as it continues to grow and evolve.”

The AGM also featured a keynote address from Jeff Hines, President of Stellantis Canada. Mr. Hines spoke extensively about how the Automotive industry is in transition. “This is an essential topic for our regional economy” stressed Haddad. “It is always a great benefit to hear directly from leaders in the sector that have first-hand knowledge and experience of how the industry is changing and what to expect.”
