Windsor, November 26, 2024 – The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Downtown Mission to provide Chamber members with discounts on custom merchandise while helping one of Windsor-Essex’s most venerable charitable organizations. Through this partnership, Chamber members will be able to utilize the Downtown Mission’s Promotional Products program to help their business and our community.

“A key part of the Chamber’s role is to serve the Community, not just the Business Community,” said Interim Chamber CEO Tony Haddad. “This partnership provides benefits for the Chamber’s members while also providing value to the Downtown Mission, so it profits both parties and furthers the Chamber’s commitment to our community.”

The partnership allows Chamber members to utilize the Downtown Mission’s Promotional Products program for a discount. Members can get custom branded merchandise on thousands of promotional products and apparel options. The highlight of this partnership is that it provides savings to members while they give back with 100% of the proceeds going towards the Downtown Mission and their goal of aiding the hungry and homeless of our community.

“Mission Promotional Products is part of the Enterprise Program of The Downtown Mission. The Enterprise program provides job readiness training and on-the-job placements within the organization and community to progress our clients that have graduated from the Phoenix rehabilitation program. We also provide the program for other community partner programs.” said Director of Business Operations Maurizio Tiberia.

Mission Promotional Products employs 3 full-time and 3 part-time employees that have been trained in and specialize in Graphic Design, Embroidery, Imprinting, and UV printing. They have launched an E Commerce site www.missionpromotions.com to expand their service catchment area and provide an easy way for customers to order products.

“We are excited to work with the Chamber of Commerce to provide members with special discounts but most of all, educate the business community on how we provide more services than Food and Shelter to the homeless, but how we help them out of their current situation.” Maurizio explained.
